A
• alias
  A name that can be given to a relationship tag (optional).
• API
  An application programming interface (API) is a set of subroutine definitions, communication protocols, and tools for building software.
• automated
  A DocGen Run that is starts from a user's action, implicitly started (such as changing a field), or a scheduled process. Also known as Auto Run.
C
• child
  A relationship between two objects established by a lookup or a master-detail field.
• custom object
  Salesforce says, "Custom records that allow you to store information unique to your organization."
D
• dashboard
  Salesforce says, "A dashboard shows data from source reports as visual components, which can be charts, gauges, tables, metrics, or Visualforce pages."
• DocGen Package
  A customizable package that consists of your Salesforce data, documents, and delivery configurations for documents you want to generate.
• dynamic dashboard
  Salesforce says, "A dynamic dashboard runs using the security settings of the user viewing the dashboard."
• dynamic image
  Any image related to a record.
• dynamic value
  A stored value that is found on any record field within Salesforce.

• field tagger
  A tool that displays tags for your template based on the object you're working with and easily inserts the field tags into your templates for your DocGen Package.
• FTP
  File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used for the transfer of computer files between a client and server on a computer network.
G
• groups
  Salesforce says, "A group is a set of users. Groups can contain individual users, other groups, or the users in a role."

• JotBlock
  An area in Nintex AssureSign templates or documents that indicates where data will be applied.
K
• Knowledge-Based authentication
  Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) is an available option for signer authentication. The KBA process involves presenting the signer with a series of questions that have been generated from public data sources in order to ensure they are the authentic party designated to sign a document.

• locale
  The format of date and time, number, and currency format that's specific to a country or region.
• lookup relationship
  Salesforce says, "A relationship between two records so you can associate records with each other."
O
• OAuth
  OAuth (Open Authorization) is an open standard for token-based authentication and authorization on the Internet.
• object
  Salesforce says, "An object allows you to store information in your Salesforce organization."
P
• permission sets
  Salesforce says, "A collection of permissions and settings that gives users access to specific tools and functions."
• profiles
  Salesforce says, "Defines a user’s permission to perform different functions within Salesforce."
R
• records
  Salesforce says, "A single instance of a Salesforce object. For example, “John Jones” might be the name of a contact record."
• relationship
  Salesforce says, "A connection between two objects, used to create related lists in page layouts and detail levels in reports."
• report
  Salesforce says, "A report returns a set of records that meets certain criteria, and displays it in organized rows and columns."
• report type
  Salesforce says, "A report type defines the set of records and fields available to a report based on the relationships between a primary object and its related objects."
• rich text field
  A field where users can format the field content and add images and hyperlinks.
• roles
  Salesforce says, "Assigned responsibility of a user, partner account, or contact for specific accounts and opportunities. Administrators can define user roles in Setup."

• SFTP
  SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is a network protocol that provides file access, file transfer, and file management over any reliable data stream.
• SMTP
  The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is a communication protocol for electronic mail transmission.
• snippets
  Reusable rich text exerpts used for various delivery options and templates
• SOQL
  A specially designed SQL query language for querying the database in Salesforce orgs.
• standard object
  Objects that are in a Salesforce org by default e.g. Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity.
T
• tags
  A prefilled word block that DocGen selects for fields in your DocGen Package. The tag is a placeholder for the value being retrieved from Salesforce and it gets replaced with the relevant information when the document is generated.
• template
  A document/file that can be added to a DocGen Package. Data can be filled into the document/file.
U
• user-attended
  The process by which a user performs an explicit action to trigger a DocGen Run.
