    A
  • A name that can be given to a relationship tag (optional).
  • An application programming interface (API) is a set of subroutine definitions, communication protocols, and tools for building software.
  • A DocGen Run that is starts from a user's action, implicitly started (such as changing a field), or a scheduled process. Also known as Auto Run.
  • C
  • A relationship between two objects established by a lookup or a master-detail field.
  • Salesforce says, "Custom records that allow you to store information unique to your organization."

  • Salesforce says, "A dashboard shows data from source reports as visual components, which can be charts, gauges, tables, metrics, or Visualforce pages."
  • A customizable package that consists of your Salesforce data, documents, and delivery configurations for documents you want to generate.
  • Salesforce says, "A dynamic dashboard runs using the security settings of the user viewing the dashboard."
  • Any image related to a record.
  • A stored value that is found on any record field within Salesforce.

  • A tool that displays tags for your template based on the object you're working with and easily inserts the field tags into your templates for your DocGen Package.
  • File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used for the transfer of computer files between a client and server on a computer network.

  • Salesforce says, "A group is a set of users. Groups can contain individual users, other groups, or the users in a role."
  • J
  • An area in Nintex AssureSign templates or documents that indicates where data will be applied.
  • K
  • Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) is an available option for signer authentication. The KBA process involves presenting the signer with a series of questions that have been generated from public data sources in order to ensure they are the authentic party designated to sign a document.

  • The format of date and time, number, and currency format that's specific to a country or region.

  • OAuth (Open Authorization) is an open standard for token-based authentication and authorization on the Internet.

  • A specially designed SQL query language for querying the database in Salesforce orgs.

  • A prefilled word block that DocGen selects for fields in your DocGen Package. The tag is a placeholder for the value being retrieved from Salesforce and it gets replaced with the relevant information when the document is generated.
  • A document/file that can be added to a DocGen Package. Data can be filled into the document/file.
  • U
  • The process by which a user performs an explicit action to trigger a DocGen Run.
